Let us start from combining & re-structuring three elements;
knowledge, experiences and results relating to training as the following:
First: Knowledge:
Daniel Pink wrote a book called “A Whole New Mind: Why Right-brainers Will Rule the Future” -New York Times bestseller, BusinessWeek bestseller, Wall
Street Journal bestseller
and Washington Post bestseller-in which he defined
a very important and necessary element (Design) for leading the world
through INNOVATION. For example, there is no strong building without a fine
structural design.
Second: Experiences:
Knowing
what you must know is important as well as necessary, because importance makes
things valuable and necessity makes things doable. It requires special
knowledge and experience to design a likable and strong building. Without them,
nobody would buy it and it wouldn’t last.
Third: Results
Results show that without knowing how to
design a structure, we cannot build a nice and strong building. This is why I
was shocked when I saw many training materials –in the Arabic region-, namely Train
of Trainer (TOT) courses, do not include a Structural Design element.
Structural Design is considered important as well as necessary for designing
the mind of a trainer to be able to design a training course material. This is
the main core of business training, and it is missing, resulting in poor
training material, and therefore, a poor training course. So “when missing the core, the result is poor”. If we don’t allow this
to happen, if we insist on including what is important and necessary, our
training materials would be well structurally designed, therefore it would be rich.
